Raising Steps Uganda is a beacon of hope tirelessly working to empower and uplift vulnerable communities especially the learners through an integrated approach to Education and Climate action. The Organization’s commitment to improving the lives of learners is reflected in its diverse programs that promote not only Education access but also personal growth and resilience. At the core of Raising Steps Uganda is the drive to Education Empowerment and Climate Sustainability, we provide vital scholastic materials and foster an environment where career guidance and counselling thrive, the Organization ensures that learners are equipped to succeed in both school and life. With a keen focus on raising awareness about crucial issues such as teenage pregnancy, school dropout, mental health, hygiene and child rights.
The Organization offers Scholarship mobilizations that open doors to further education and helping talented students who might otherwise not have the financial means to pursue their dreams, it also provides critical life skills trainings that empower learners to face life’s challenges with confidence and competence.
The Organization understands that the future of the next generation is inter-twined with the health of the planet, through tree planting initiatives, community cleanups and smart farming methods awareness it works actively to foster a sustainable relationship between the people and their environment. The adoption of renewable energy and the promotion of innovative technologies are key aspects of our strategy to combat climate change and improve the lives of Uganda’s communities. The Organization focuses on building community resilience and adaptation thereby helping people to better withstand the changing climate and become active contributors to environment stewardship.

Our mission is to empower students and communities by providing access to education, scholastic
materials, mentorship, and life skills, while promoting mental health awareness, gender equality, and
career guidance. At the same time, we commit to advancing climate action and sustainability through
environmental education, conservation, and community-driven initiatives that build resilience and secure
a prosperous future.
