The Chairperson pursued his education with determination and grit ultimately earning a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, despite his technical background he maintains a strong sense of social responsibility, his heart is always with the people so he became involved in the community initiatives that focus on youth empowerment , education and health care which he feels are foundational to building a stronger society . His leadership goes beyond just managing the organization but rather one of resilience, innovation and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. He’s a visionary who empowers and listens to the needs of community, his humility, compassion and ability to inspire others with a deep commitment to social justice can’t be underrated.

Anisha’s story is one of ambition and dedication to creating positive change within her community. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Business Studies specialising in Accounting and Finance, a field that compliments her leadership, her academic path is a clear reflection of her belief that good governance and financial transparency are essential in making a lasting impact especially when managing resources for vulnerable communities. She uses her skills to magnify the voices of the marginalized as reflected in her discipline, time management and demonstrates that leadership is not just about titles but about the positive change one can inspire through hard work, collaboration and a genuine desire to help learners.

With a deep commitment to social development, Irene has spent years championing initiatives that provide education, skills training and support to underserved communities particularly focusing on the welfare of learners. She’s currently awaiting graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in laws which compliments her hands on approach to leadership, enhancing her ability to navigate complex issues in social justice and community development. She has made significant strides in providing opportunities for education and providing empowerment opportunities, Irene’s passion for social justice and change as well as ability to inspire others have earned her respect both locally and internationally, making her a prominent figure in Uganda’s non profit sector.

Francis is a dynamic speaker and advocate for sustainable agriculture and community development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Agriculture and Livelihoods, his work spans various initiatives that bridge the gap between agricultural innovation and the economic empowerment of farmers. He effectively communicates the importance of integrating innovative agricultural practices with broader community empowerment strategies, helping to inspire and create opportunities for growth in underserved regions. Through his work at Raising Steps Uganda he’s helping to drive impactful change, fostering a future where sustainable agriculture plays a central role in improving the lives of Uganda’s rural communities.

Kyazike Immaculate holds a Certificate in Midwifery and is passionate about serving and uplifting her community. She has previously worked with the Busoga Kingdom in community service initiatives and is widely recognized for her commitment to social development.
In 2021/2022, she was crowned Miss Tourism Bugweri District, where she actively promoted local culture and tourism. Immaculate also has a passion for music and enjoys using her talents to inspire and engage young people.
